In 1989, I received a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. I studied fine-art photography under Nicholas Nixon, Abelardo Morell, Laura McPhee and Barbara Bosworth. It was at MassArt where I first started photographing nature (mostly public Victory Gardens). Since then, I have photographed nature in many forms and it has continued to be my primary source of inspiration. Empty spaces (spaces without people) have also been a subject I have been drawn to. It could be an empty backyard or most recently a project on estate sales in Silicon Valley. My photographs have been included in various group shows in Boston and Palo Alto, CA as well as being used in publishing, editorial and advertising. In addition to my photography blog, you can also connect with me on Facebook and Twitter.
